Georges Corraface

Born in Paris, Georges Corraface is a French actor of Greek descent who performed in film and television after years in French theater, including work with Peter Brook's company. His film credits include Not Without My Daughter (1991), Impromptu (1991), Christopher Columbus: The Discovery (1992), Escape from L.A. (1996), A Touch of Spice (2003), and Papadopoulos & Sons (2012). He won the International Thessaloniki Film Award in 1996 for Slaughter of the Cock and the State Award for Best Actor in 2001 for To Tama. On television he appeared in La Bicyclette Bleue, L'Été Rouge, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, and Drifting Cities. He served as president of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival between 2005 and 2010. Later stage work included playing Hook in Pan, and he wrote, directed, and acted in Burn Your House. He also was an associate producer on Word of Honor and Chariton's Choir.
