Gary Conway

Gary Conway is an American actor and screenwriter who studied art at the University of California, Los Angeles before finding steady work in film and television. His early credits were horror pictures, among them I Was a Teenage Frankenstein (1957), in which he played the monster, How to Make a Monster (1958), and The Saga of the Viking Women and Their Voyage to the Waters of the Great Sea Serpent (1957). He later co-starred with Gene Barry on the detective show Burke's Law from 1963 to 1965, and from 1968 to 1970 he headlined Irwin Allen's science fiction series Land of the Giants, playing Captain Steve Burton. Other screen work includes the television movie The Judge and Jake Wyler with Bette Davis, a guest turn on Columbo, Black Gunn (1972), and American Ninja 2: The Confrontation (1987). He also wrote for the screen and formed the production company Ambush Entertainment Corporation with Dean Zanetos in 1987.
