Elva Trill
Biography
The Irish actress and singer Elva Trill grew up in Ballymote, County Sligo, and began performance training at 12 through the Gaiety School of Acting, later winning a place at The Factory rehearsal studios in her late teens. In 2012 she played Josephine Marchment in the television production Am an Ghátair, which led to work on the BBC drama Ripper Street, shot in Dublin. Her film credits include the horror movie Cherry Tree (2015), Brother (2015), Stephen Burke's Maze (2017), Soulsmith (2017) and the Hallmark film Royal Matchmaker (2018), while her television work takes in Red Rock and Starstruck (2021). She went on to appear in The Ghosts of Monday (2021) and Jurassic World Dominion (2022), and played Karen in the British independent film Wait For Me (2023). She also sings with the band The City and Us.
