Diane Keen

Diane Keen is an English actress who grew up in East Africa and has worked in television, film and theater for decades. She became a regular on television in the 1970s and early 1980s, starring in sitcoms such as The Cuckoo Waltz, Rings on Their Fingers and You Must Be the Husband, and she took the role of Sandra Gould in Crossroads between 1968 and 1971. Her films include Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush (1968) and Sweeney! (1977). She starred as Jenny Burden in The Ruth Rendell Mysteries and played practice manager Julia Parsons in the BBC soap opera Doctors from 2003 to 2012, work that brought her repeated British Soap Award nominations and a 2008 RTS Midlands Award. On stage she appeared in Absent Friends at the Bristol Old Vic and in The Vagina Monologues.
