Debra Lamb

Debra Lamb is an actress who began as a classically trained ballet dancer. Born in Portland, Oregon, she moved to Los Angeles, where she studied at the Van Mar Academy in West Hollywood and later with other acting teachers, including Victoria Wells. Her first break came when John Hughes cast her as a dancer in Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987), and that comedic work earned her a SAG card. She performed stand-up at The Comedy Store and joined Sam Longoria's The Wild Side Theater improv troupe. Her flair for comedy and skill as a fire eater helped her win roles in low budget horror films during the 1980s and 1990s, and she became known as a scream queen of that era. She played Mantra in Katt Shea's Stripped to Kill 2: Live Girls (1989). She also wrote stories for Dark Beauty magazine and an anthology, and is a screenwriter.
