Daniel Brochu

Biography

Daniel Brochu is a Canadian actor who has built his career largely in voice work. Born in Montreal, he was employed as a postal carrier before he began acting; he has said that a person involved in dubbing inspired him to enter the profession. Among his influences he lists Mel Blanc, the voice artist, and his mentor Tim Reid. On television, Brochu is most closely associated with the PBS series Arthur, in which he voices Buster Baxter, a role he also plays in the spin-off Postcards from Buster. In addition to that work, he provided the voice of Danny Pickett during the later seasons of What's with Andy?, another television series.
