Dan Schneider
Biography
Dan Schneider is an American television producer and screenwriter who also acted, starting with supporting roles in 1980s teen comedies. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, he appeared in films such as Making the Grade (1984), Better Off Dead (1985), Happy Together (1989), The Big Picture (1989), and Listen to Me (1989), and played Dennis Blunden on the ABC sitcom Head of the Class from 1986 to 1991. He then moved into children's programming at Nickelodeon, first writing and producing All That and Kenan & Kel before creating The Amanda Show. He later created a string of Nickelodeon series, including Drake & Josh, Zoey 101, iCarly, Victorious, and Sam & Cat, and he co-created Henry Danger and created Game Shakers. He also wrote Good Burger (1997), acting in it as well, and wrote and co-produced Big Fat Liar (2002).
