Charlene Tilton

Charlene Tilton is an American actress and singer who became known for playing Lucy Ewing in the CBS prime time soap Dallas. Born in San Diego, she started out in television with parts on Happy Days and Eight Is Enough, then made her movie debut opposite Jodie Foster in Freaky Friday (1976). A cameo in Big Wednesday (1978) came before her Dallas breakthrough, the role she played from 1978 to 1985 and again from 1988 to 1990, with a 1980 visit to the spin-off Knots Landing. She sang on a 1978 Dallas episode and in 1984 put out the dance-pop record C'est la Vie, a success in European countries but not in the United States. Later work includes Problem Child 2 (1991), The Silence of the Hams (1994), and Vengeance: A Love Story (2017). In 2001 the Young Artist Foundation honored her with a Former Child Star Lifetime Achievement Award, and in 2012 she returned for TNT's Dallas revival.
