Biography
Camryn Grimes is an American actress who built her career in daytime television. Born in Van Nuys, she began playing Cassie Newman on The Young and the Restless in 1997 and stayed until the role was written off in May 2005, later returning a few times as the character's spirit. In 2014 she started a second part on the same soap, Mariah Copeland, who resembled Cassie and turned out to be her twin, and the show placed her on contract that May. Her performances earned six Daytime Emmy Award nominations and two wins, for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series in 2000 and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2018. On film she played Holly in Swordfish (2001), and she has guest-starred on Medium, JAG, NCIS and ER.
