Beth Behrs
Biography
Beth Behrs is an American actress who began performing in theater as a child and trained in San Francisco at the American Conservatory Theater and at UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television. Her first screen role came in the 2009 comedy American Pie Presents: The Book of Love. She gained recognition as Caroline Channing, a former heiress working as a waitress, in the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls, which ran for six seasons and brought her Teen Choice and People's Choice Award nominations. She voiced Carrie Williams in Monsters University (2013) and appeared in Hello, My Name Is Doris (2015). Since 2018 she has played Gemma Johnson on the CBS sitcom The Neighborhood. She also wrote the young-adult webcomic Dents and the self-help book The Total Me-Tox.

Behrs studied at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, where she was classically trained as a singer. She also performed in the musical Dangling Conversations: The Music of Simon and Garfunkel.
