Barnaby Kay
Biography
Barnaby Kay is a British actor whose work spans television, stage, film and performance art, and he belonged to the Royal Shakespeare Company. From the mid-1990s he built up a long list of screen credits, among them Minder, Cracker, Jonathan Creek, Shakespeare in Love and Croupier (1998). Later screen roles included Prime Suspect, Spooks, Midsomer Murders, Holby City, Wuthering Heights, Public Enemies, Wallander, New Tricks, Frankie, Doctor Who and The Five. He also appeared in the film Conspiracy (2001). On stage, his roles have included the Donmar Warehouse production of A Streetcar Named Desire, As You Like It at the Novello Theatre, Closer at the National Theatre from 1999 to 2000, and Dying For It at the Almeida Theatre. His radio work includes the Lovecraft Investigations series for BBC Radio 4.
