Audrie Neenan

Audrie Neenan is an American actress who grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, acted in school plays and studied at Barat College for Women in Illinois. She built a screen reputation playing intimidating women, among them judges, policewomen and mouthy waitresses, and she is best known for Ray Parkins, the abrasive criminal in Sudden Impact (1983). Her television work includes the judges Lois Preston on Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, plus appearances on Friends, Ally McBeal, The Cosby Show and Not Necessarily the News. Her film roles include a police officer in See No Evil, Hear No Evil (1989), a waitress in Funny Farm (1988), a bar waitress in The Departed (2006) and a part in the drama Doubt (2008). She first appeared on Broadway in The Curse of an Aching Heart alongside Faye Dunaway, and she also worked at the Chicago Shakespeare Festival and The Apollo.
