Ashley Rickards

Biography

Ashley Rickards is an American actress who got her start in a local opera production at 13 and, after a talent showcase, traveled to Los Angeles to pursue screen work. She was born in Sarasota, Florida, and was raised on a horse farm. Her early years brought guest spots and small parts, including a bit role in her first feature, Gamer, before she was cast as Samantha Walker, a foster child on the run, in One Tree Hill. She then landed the lead in the MTV comedy-drama Awkward as Jenna Hamilton, a part that raised her profile and let her direct one episode. She also appeared in the coming-of-age film Sassy Pants (2012) and moved into horror with At the Devil's Door (2014) and A Haunted House 2 (2014). Later credits include The Flash and the comedy series Ctrl Alt Delete.
