Andrey Ivchenko
Biography
Andrey Ivchenko is a Ukrainian-born actor and stunt performer who got his start in high school theater programs, where he discovered a knack for memorizing lines and commanding a stage. He also trained as a bodybuilder, and his height and strength helped him find work in action and stunt roles. After serving in the U.S.S.R. military for two years and earning a master's degree in kinesiology, he moved to Europe and then Toronto, signed with an agent, and appeared in acting and stunt parts on shows such as Falling Skies, Nikita, and The Transporter. His first leading film role came in The Way of the West (2011), followed by a lead in Freezer (2014). He later moved to Los Angeles and played a supporting role opposite Vin Diesel in xXx: Return of Xander Cage (2017).
