One afternoon she notices a man watching her as she tries on a dress for a wedding. He gets into her home, ties her up and rapes her. Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Rider on the Rain (1970)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Charles Bronson learned his lines in French phonetically for the film so that his own voice would be heard on the soundtrack; it was the last European film for which he did this, allowing himself to be dubbed in all his later ones.
- Bronson's agent Paul Kohner called Rider on the Rain the turning point for Bronson: within weeks his name was so big in Europe that hundreds of theatres ran old American pictures with Bronson above the title, though he had originally played third or fourth lead.
- The film's theme song, with French lyrics by Sébastien Japrisot and sung by Severine, was given English lyrics by the American singer-songwriter Peggy Lee, who recorded it on her 1971 album Make It With You as "Passenger of the Rain".
