Plot summary

The camcorder footage a family shot over the years, before, during and after a period of child abuse, provides the documentary's material. A young man goes back through his relatives' tapes to piece together his boyhood, and the film follows the family as it tries to make sense of what happened and to reckon with more than one case of abuse. The project was part-funded through Kickstarter, where a campaign that began on 30 March 2014 and was marketed as Rewind To Fast-Forward raised just over US$175,000. It received a Special Jury Mention at the Tribeca Film Festival and a documentary jury prize at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival.
