Trailer

Plot summary

Fang Gang, known as the One-Armed Swordsman, has retired from the jianghu and lives quietly with his wife Xiaoman. A group of eight fighters, the Eight Sword Kings, sets out to dominate the jianghu by challenging its martial arts schools. Each of the eight carries a distinctive weapon and fights in his own style, and enforcers kill anyone who refuses to submit. The kings seize the schools' masters and give their apprentices a choice: cut off the arms that hold their weapons and surrender, or the masters die. The schools ask Fang for help. He is reluctant to return to jianghu affairs, and one apprentice kidnaps Xiaoman to force him out of retirement. Another apprentice cuts off his own arm in despair.
