Plot summary
Richard Clayton is a thirty-four-year-old psychologist and a hip, well-dressed yuppie. His parents reveal to him that he was adopted, so he begins looking for his biological mother and father. The search leads him to Frank and Agnes Menure, a couple who live in a trailer park. Frank and Agnes are crude and lower class, and they both work as carnies.
