Plot summary
In 1988, seven years after his previous case, Income Tax officer Amay Patnaik is transferred for the 74th time, to the town of Bhoj in Madhya Pradesh. An honest and daring officer of the Indian Revenue Service who has seized more than 4,200 crore rupees in his raids, he is after another white-collar crime. His target is Manohar Dhankar, a corrupt politician known as Dada Manohar Bhai, whose public face is that of a benevolent man. The pursuit becomes his 75th raid. Malini Patnaik is his wife. In this work, Income Tax Department officers join with intelligence agencies to track such crimes.
