Plot summary

The film follows survivors of conversion therapy and former leaders of the movement, including some who grapple with their actions against others. It begins in the 1970s, when five men in an Evangelical church who wanted to leave their homosexual lifestyle started a bible study. Requests for the same help arrived in more than 25,000 letters, and the group formalized as Exodus International, the biggest and most disputed conversion therapy organization worldwide. Its leaders held a private struggle: their own same-sex attractions never went away.
