Plot summary
During the war in Ukraine, three Ukrainian artists decide not to leave. They join the Ukrainian defense and take on military duties. One of them becomes a machine gun trainer, preparing others for combat. At the same time, he and a second artist continue to make porcelain figurines even as missiles strike around them. Their craft becomes a form of resistance. The documentary follows their military responsibilities and their artistic practice, emphasizing the purpose of art during conflict and national pride. It shows Ukrainian landscapes and the wreckage left by war, including scenes captured with action cameras and aerial drones.
