Plot summary
A young gendarme in Romania, Cristi carries two parts of himself that do not sit easily together. One is the man who works in a macho, hierarchical service. The other is a gay man who stays closeted and keeps his personal life secret. His boyfriend, Hadi, is French, and the two of them live far apart, seeing each other only on visits. Hadi is in the country now when Cristi is sent to an intervention at a movie theater. A group of ultra-nationalist protesters with homophobic aims has interrupted a screening of a queer film there. One of the protesters threatens to out Cristi.
