Plot summary
Miao Miao is the girlfriend of Wu Jiang, who owns the nightclub Wu Bar, and her father, the detective Zhong Wen, does not approve. He comes to the club to see her, and the visit turns into an argument between father and daughter. An unnamed assailant strikes Zhong in the head, part of a plan arranged by Wu. Zhong regains consciousness strapped to a chair, his hands bound in metal wire. He learns that Miao Miao and the other patrons of the bar are captives as well. Wu calls the lieutenant in charge and asks for a large ransom and a meeting with Wei Xiaofu, a prisoner.
