Plot summary
Linnéa, nineteen, comes from a small town in Sweden and moves to Los Angeles, where she performs as Bella Cherry and wants to become a porn star. A manager guides her through the industry's demands, and she shares a house with other young women chasing the same career. Standoffish at first, she grows close to her housemate Joy, who helps her build a brand. At a party the women spot Mark Spiegler, a demanding agent, along with Ava, a well-known local name. Bella gets no further than pleasantries with Ava, and Joy, rejected by a famous male actor, pushes him into a pool. Bella's shoots include a BDSM shoot for a female director who insists on safety and consent, and she asks her manager for harder material.

- After Pleasure came out, adult performers Lance Hart and Axel Braun tweeted that they felt "duped" into taking part and called it "a cheap shot making us look bad"; Braun later expressed support for the film and attended its U.S. premiere.
