Plot summary

Mr. Li, a tenant in a Hong Kong apartment high-rise, is troubled by the ghost of his late mother. She appears in the flat he shares with his wife and blames the couple for her death, and the paranormal activity spreads through the building. Kwan, a curious young girl caught in the commotion, and the apartment block's inept security guards cannot deal with the hauntings on their own, so they seek the unlikely help of Leon, a man who presents himself as a ghostbuster and consults a potted plant for guidance. He was passing the building when the ghostly events began.
