Plot summary
Annabel's birthday night costs her nearly everything she owns: her house, her inheritance and her relationship. It finishes with her in a cell. Once it is over, she decides to put her life together, but she has little talent for changing herself. Her problems keep growing. Clumsy lies multiply, and she is caught between two men and between two identities.
