Plot summary
Sophie, also called Soof, has her life where she wants it. Her restaurant is busy, her children are grown enough to leave home, and she is happy. She still takes on more tasks than she can handle at once. Two things then reach her at the same time: bad news, and the return of her daughter Sacha from abroad, who has a fiancé to introduce. Soof throws herself into the coming wedding instead of dealing with her own trouble. The people around her want to help. She has to learn to accept their help and to believe she is worthy of their concern.
