As the case goes on, Ma Zhe comes across a cassette tape holding intimate recordings of Qian Ling and Wang Hong, a pair of secret lovers. What is on the tape sends the police toward hidden relationships and poetry gatherings, and toward a woman with long, wavy hair who was seen close to the crime scene.
