Plot summary
Adi rents a room in Mumbai from Gopi, a retired judge, whose wife Charu is a classical singer with Alzheimer's disease. On his first day at a gaming company, Adi pitches an idea for a game called Mumbai 2.0; his boss likes it and sets a five-month deadline to have a prototype ready for a contest in Los Angeles. At a friend's wedding Adi meets Tara, an architecture student headed to Paris, and hears how her parents' marriage turned her against marrying. She explores the city with him and takes him along on a work trip to Ahmedabad. Both of them call marriage messy, so they decide to live together before their careers pull them abroad. Gopi objects at first, then gives way when Tara sings for Charu and Charu takes to her.
