Plot summary
Dietrich Kuhlbrodt, born in 1932, lives retired in Blankenese, a district of Hamburg. Over the years he has been a film critic, a screenwriter, a punk musician, a temporary porn commissioner and a supporting actor, and he served as a senior prosecutor in the young Federal Republic, where he pursued those responsible for the crimes of the Third Reich. He has played Nazi figures, among them Joseph Goebbels. Brigitte, his companion of 50 years, is gone, but the room she used stays as it was, and the stuffed animal Wauwi remains near him. Rare film clips accompany his daily routines.
