Plot summary
Coinciding with the centennial of the national parks, Conrad Anker, Max Lowe and Rachel Pohl hike, climb and explore across America's parks. Anker is a mountaineer, Lowe an adventure photographer and Pohl an artist, and their travels together include Yellowstone, Yosemite, Glacier National Park, Redwood National Park, the Everglades and Arches. Shot with IMAX 3D cameras, the photography carries viewers over red rock canyons and up craggy mountain peaks. The trip is an off-trail adventure into the nation's great outdoors, and an Academy Award winner narrates. The story also revisits the camping trip that Roosevelt and Muir took when the park system was born.
