Plot summary
Ramon Velasco is an actor who is always landing in trouble, and his son Lalau builds a comedy act out of that, touring stages across Brazil's interior. While performing in Ceará, he gets an offer from Flora: one hundred thousand dollars if he poses as a famous Indian guru at a motivational event in Rio de Janeiro. Lalau takes the money and leaves for the city without telling his father. Ramon, meanwhile, sees his son's face on the cover of a newspaper and decides to go after him, inventing a whole series of characters of his own along the way.
