Plot summary
Kahraman and his brother Murat share a poor home. After a fire in the house kills their father through smoke, the two brothers stay together, and Halit, Murat's friend who has been fired from his job, settles in with them. Kahraman's teacher phones the household to ask that the boy be kept clean, and Murat sees that his brother has grown sluggish. A doctor's examination brings news that Kahraman is seriously ill, and the doctor tells Murat to grant the boy every request. Kahraman's own wish is a television for the house. Murat and Halit take him to restaurants and an amusement park and try to fulfill each of the things he asks for, while the television stays out of reach.
