Plot summary

Two families that have met only once gather again for Mother's Day, brought together by the marriage of Lidia and Manuel. Esmeralda and Rosa end up depending on each other to get through a day that does not go their way. Under the celebration sits a secret the family has kept quiet, one that will change things once it comes out. The reunion has the makings of an argument, and it threatens to spill over into blunt, awkward honesty.
