Hu Bayi and Professor Sun translate most of the Tome and determine that the Orb is in Emperor Xian's Tomb, in the ancient Longfeng Mountains of Yunnan. Chen Yukou, half-mad and consumed by regret, gives them little but a warning never to look into its eyes. Cai Yun, who runs a remote hotel, and her daughter Kong Que meet them there.
