Plot summary
The passengers aboard a small train find themselves locked in, with nobody driving it. Each of them had set out that day for a destination of their own, Roman Hála and Romana among them. Now they share a single aim: to get out of the carriage or to stop the train. Outside, the local authorities are preparing a rescue operation as the train keeps moving at a very slow pace. A drama breaks out along the way, absurd in places, both inside the carriage and among the people trying to reach those trapped on board. The whole story plays out over the course of one day.
