Plot summary
An international company travels to Romania to shoot a film about Belle Gunness, the serial killer at the center of the script. It is a film within a film, a story about the cast and crew at work on such a project. Rebecca Fairbanks holds the lead, a role that matters a great deal to her career, and she tries to get deeply into character rather than simply play the part. As the shoot goes on, incidents on the set begin to follow the pattern of the real-life crimes the production is dramatizing, and the division between the actress and the murderer she portrays starts to give way.
