Plot summary
Carolina appears to have everything: a large house, a magazine job and a husband who works in publicity. Within one day her life breaks apart. She learns that she cannot have children, and her husband says he is leaving her for her closest friend, who is expecting his baby. Carolina drinks heavily and falls from the second floor of her home. The fall is read as a suicide attempt, and she is placed against her will in Eden, an exclusive psychiatric clinic, among its patients.
