Plot summary
Mysterious entities have spread across the world, manipulating people's negative emotions. Those who see them mostly die by suicide, and some become seers. A common precaution is wearing a blindfold outdoors. In Barcelona, Sebastián travels with his daughter Anna. He encounters a group of survivors and says he knows where generators are that can supply light and heating. Sebastián joins the group in their shelter, which is inside a bus hangar.
