Plot summary

Haruto Asakura is a budding photographer who has nearly given up on his dream when he meets Misaki Ariake, the hairdresser who cuts his hair. She tells him he was her very first client, and he keeps returning for trims before asking her out while she works. He moves his head during a cut and she nicks his earlobe, which bleeds so much that he passes out. Days later a frantic Misaki apologizes, and he asks again; she agrees. Misaki's protective older brother Takashi does not approve. Under the cherry blossoms Haruto admits he is not yet working as a photographer, and Misaki urges him not to give up when things get hard, so he takes a job at a photo studio. Then she is diagnosed with a condition that ages her at an alarming rate.
