Plot summary
In 1981 the Rolling Stones toured North America, playing arena shows and an outdoor stadium concert. Performances were filmed at the Brendan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on 5 and 6 November, and at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona, on 13 December. Twenty cameras move onstage with the band. The songs draw on the group's first twenty years, and extra players join on organ, piano and saxophone. A live album from the same tour came out in 1982.
