Plot summary
A doctor known for his work with people who have gender dysphoria appears on camera, and several of his patients are interviewed as well, describing their lives. In between those conversations, actors play out staged versions of what the interviewees recount. An illustrated lecture sets out various aspects of trans identity, and the documentary also includes footage of a gender reassignment operation. Among the people interviewed is a transgender rights activist.
