Plot summary
Sang-gu has made a name for himself as a teenage street fighter in South Korea, beating everyone he faces, and the lack of a worthy opponent has worn down his interest in fighting. His friend Moon-jae is beaten by Min-guk, the champion of the mixed martial arts tournament at his school, in a fight at Moon-jae's mother's shop. Outraged, Sang-gu transfers to Min-guk's school, Seolhan, the only school in the country that specializes in fighting. The winner of its annual league goes on to Road FC, and Sang-gu enters the league hoping for stronger opponents and for a way to settle the score for his friend.
