Plot summary
Monica works as a chef. Together with her boyfriend she is getting a new restaurant in Amsterdam ready to open its doors. Before that can happen she goes back to her roots, the village of Noorbeek in Zuid-Limburg, since she has ties there that need cutting. Not long after she arrives in the village she comes across a lover she knew in the past. Lots of years have passed and plenty has changed, and yet more than she had expected still feels familiar and safe to her. Whether Amsterdam is truly the right call is a question she now has to answer.
