Plot summary
The government asks Yang Hu Yun to carry a shipment of gold to an area struck by famine. The Chi Sha gang announces it will hijack the cargo, and one of Yang's employees is killed. Yang tells his men about the gang's four chiefs, Golden Arm, Silver Spear, Iron Robe and Brass Head, each a master of a different fighting style. For protection he hires the swordsman Li Chin Ming, Ming's girlfriend Leng Feng, the axe fighters Long Axe and Short Axe, and Agent Hai Tao, a government man who fights best when drunk. When members of the gang invite Hai Tao to join them, he refuses.
