Plot summary
David Sloan, a kickboxing champion, comes to Rio de Janeiro with his trainer Xian for a championship bout. Xian wants him to train, while David would rather take in the city. At lunch a boy named Marcos snatches their camera, and David chases him down, fights off two drunken attackers and takes it back. Xian asks Marcos and his older sister Isabella to join the table, and the four become friends. A charity kickboxing card puts David in the corner of a young fighter matched against the Argentine kickboxer managed by Lane, the man he is to face. That kickboxer beats the young fighter without mercy, and David steps in.
