Plot summary
After her father, a former yakuza, gets into legal trouble over counterfeit Versace apparel, Momoko Ryugasaki leaves Amagasaki for her grandmother's house in Shimotsuma, a rural town in Ibaraki Prefecture. She admires the Rococo style and buys Lolita dresses from Baby, the Stars Shine Bright in Tokyo, and the move brings her closer to that store, though no one in the countryside shares her tastes. Short of money for her wardrobe, she sells the counterfeit clothing her father left behind. Ichigo Shirayuri, who rides with the all-female biker gang Ponytails and goes by Ichiko, keeps coming back to buy pieces for her gang. The two have opposite tastes and tempers, yet they begin to spend time together.
