Plot summary
Jackson Heights, in Queens, is home to residents from many parts of the world, and the documentary follows the daily life of the district. Among the places it visits are a Muslim school, a Jewish center and a City Council office. Gay and transgender residents meet there as well. Make the Road New York, an activist group for Latino and working-class people, has a local office in the neighborhood.
