Plot summary
Sheila is a bank teller, recently divorced. Her bosses criticize her for small mistakes at work. Gwen, the girlfriend of her son Vince, intimidates her. When she learns that her ex-husband has a new partner, she goes to the winter sale at Dentley & Soper's to look for a dress for a date. The clerk Miss Luckmoore helps her, and she buys a flowing red dress. Once she has worn it, a strange rash shows on her chest.
