Plot summary
An accident at a construction site in Ireland kills the father of seventeen-year-old Ola Hudzik. She travels there and takes his body back to Poland; the two were estranged, and she makes the trip on her own. Her father had promised her a car, and she wants to know whether he saved the money for it. In Ireland she deals with foreign bureaucracy in her own streetwise way.
